• Instagram account identifiers (ID, username) after you connect
• Instagram media and comments accessed via Meta APIs
• Subscription and billing details (processed by Stripe; we do not store full card details)
• Transactional email events (verification, password reset)

We do not store your Instagram password.

• Provide comment moderation and dashboard features
• Sync and display Instagram media/comments you authorize
• Send transactional emails (verification, password reset)
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues
• Manage subscriptions and billing

If you connect Instagram, we access data through Meta’s official APIs only, and only for the purposes of providing the service.

• We do not sell Instagram data
• We do not use Instagram data for advertising
• We do not access Instagram DMs

We share data only with service providers necessary to run CommentGuard, such as:

• Meta / Instagram (API access)
• Stripe (payments)
• Resend (transactional emails)
• Infrastructure providers (hosting/logging where applicable)

We do not sell your personal data.

We retain account data while your account is active. Instagram data is retained only as needed to provide the service and may be removed when you unlink Instagram or request deletion.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use means you accept the updated policy.
